I get to use Tivo to catch up on all the movies I never got to see...even the ones I wouldn't pay money to see. I can watch them...give them a fair shake...suck the good out of them and throw them away.
I also like to watch terrible movies...sometimes, when you don't have to spend money on them, they are actually worth something....if not, turn them off, hit delete and you're done.
Take Scott Pilgrim vs the World...no way in the WORLD I spend a dime on that, not even to rent...what a loser flick on the package. Might as well have offered me sauerkraut flavored ice cream topped with feet and rotten peanut butter. The free preview weekend is like getting to experience the shock value, are you kidding me type of concept without having to actually taste the flavor...all experiment and no dice.
So I liked Scott Pilgrim vs. the World...the whole video game mystique...all good. Didn't spend a dime and it's like freeware...if it doesn't take my money, it's going to have to work to stink...obviously, SPVTW didn't want to work that hard. Rock on.
Oh yeah...better bring this ADD moment back around from feet and rotten peanut butter or whatever unsavory combo you think that tastes like --- stop imagining it -- GROSS...anyway, I did say bring this back around to where we started...SPVTW...sucky movies...free beats pay for experimentation...tivo and finally that's why I like free preview weekends with ST, Max, HBO, etc...
work it...Beneccio DelTorro...rockin' name! (Yeah, that's not SPVTW, but oh well, next movie).
Just some off the cuff stuff that is worthy of the "off brand" name... low cost, basic & pretty black-n-white.
